Start with a Character, Not a Blank Chat Box

A general assistant is built to answer a question and move on. Kales chat starts with someone: a character with a look, personality, relationship, and story context. The point is not only to get an answer, but to see how that character responds and where the interaction goes next.

Romance is one option, not the whole product. You can talk with an AI girlfriend, AI boyfriend, friend, partner, mentor, fantasy character, or original story character, depending on the profiles currently available.

Chat: Find the Character's Natural Rhythm

Chat is for greetings, sharing what happened during your day, talking through an idea, or learning how a character speaks. You don't need a long setup. Pick a character and send one clear message.

If you're not sure the character is a fit, keep the first exchange short. Look at the opening line and the first few replies. If the tone feels right, sign in to save your chat history and continue the conversation later.

Roleplay: Give the Scene a Relationship, Place, and Goal

Roleplay works best when the scene has direction. Set the relationship, location, and immediate situation, then let the character respond in context. Suggested choices can keep the scene moving without a long message every turn. Roleplay is available under the current membership plan.

A useful opening might be: "We just started dating. We're waiting for the last train on a rainy night, and she seems like she has something to say." That gives the character more to work with than a generic request to roleplay.

Novel: Build a Longer Interactive Story

Novel is for longer narration, character interaction, and an ongoing plot. Set the cast, world, and opening situation, then guide the next scene with a short instruction or a suggested choice. Novel is available under the current membership plan.

Novel is collaborative, not a one-click article writer. You and the character shape the story together. Changing modes opens a separate conversation for the same character, so Chat, Roleplay, and Novel don't have to share one thread.

The Same Character in All Three Modes

Use one original character and one opening situation to compare the difference in length, point of view, and purpose.

• Chat: a short back-and-forth about the day, used to hear the character's conversational tone.
• Roleplay: first-person interaction built around a relationship, place, and immediate objective; available under the current membership plan.
• Novel: longer narrative passages that describe character, setting, and plot; available under the current membership plan.
• Choice: use Chat for a quick exchange, Roleplay for a defined scene, and Novel for a longer story.

Choose an AI Girlfriend or AI Boyfriend by More Than a Picture

Girlfriend and boyfriend characters use the same chat features. The difference is the character's gender, profile, personality, and relationship style.

The portrait is only the starting point. Read the introduction and opening line, then test a few replies. The useful questions are simple: does the character stay in role, carry the scene, and respond at a pace you enjoy?

Let Memory, Relationship, and Story Build Over Time

Kales can remember user preferences so later conversations can carry forward relationship and story context. Memory depth depends on the model and plan currently in use.

Memory is not a promise that every detail will be remembered forever. It depends on the model, account, and current product conditions. When a detail matters, state it clearly and reinforce it at an important turn in the relationship or plot.

Move From Chat to Your Own Character, Images, and Video

Understand Chat Data and Content Visibility

Kales processes chats and other User Content as described in its current Terms and Privacy Policy. Review those policies for current data-use practices. Depending on your location, you may be able to request access, deletion, or a portable copy of certain data.

Characters, images, profiles, and works may be visible to others under the current product settings and policies. Confirm visibility before publishing or sharing. AI companionship is not a replacement for medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
